When we worked with Torpedo SwimRun again in December 2020, we leveraged the involvement of South African Olympian triathlete Richard Murray to gain exposure for the event. In turn, his involvement in the new KnockOut format swimrun event, created media opportunities for Richard, who was interviewed by etv and featured in Die Burger. He was able to promote his Youtube channel and get brand exposure for two of his sponsors.
Through the etv feature and an SABC TV feature about the Torpedo SwimRun, the event’s new sponsor OUTsurance received significant media exposure.
